While the food is exceptional, some customers mention that parking can be tricky, especially during peak hours when the shop is bustling. This often requires a bit of extra time spent searching for a curbside spot in the busy village. Although the queues are generally manageable, a few customers note that Fridays can lead to longer waits, suggesting that the high demand may test your patience a little. Occasionally, the shop may run out of certain menu items during busy periods, leaving some diners disappointed.
Just came from Warrington and tried the ‘haddock’ chips peas and gravy in here and it’s really nice, the place is clean with friendly staff. I don’t often leave good reviews as I’m usually unlucky with takeouts however I’m giving this place a 10 Went back a month later and it was an easy 10 on the fish chips and peas well worth the 70 mile drive
Small fish and chip shop wedged between a row of houses in Eccleston. Tasty food, great customer service and okay prices. Very popular. Can get very busy. Parking can be hard to find along the main road, as it's all double yellow lines. You will have to find parking down the side streets.
Been here a couple of times when passing at work and it's one of the best chippys I've had. I got a small fish and chips with scraps (been looking for them for ages.) Be prepared to wait sometimes but especially on a Friday night as its packed but it's definitely worth it. I'll be back again no doubt
Lovely freshly cooked food. The place is busy but the queues are not long. Highly recommended.
Great little chippy. Batter nice and crispy and good chips n curry sauce. They also accept cards.
Lovely mini fish and chips. Ate them on a bench in their garden. Lovely. Felt like I was at the seaside. Hot fresh and tasty, who could ask for more. Drove 7 miles for the experience. Staff friendly and attentive. 5 stars!
Oh my god this is the most excellent chippy I've experienced in years. I'm still getting over my chips, steak pudding and gravy from today! Like an olden days chippy. Same opinion of my fish chips and peas last week. Everybody should pay a visit and experience the way chippy food taste. Excellent!
